5th Largest General Contractor in Hawaii in the 2009
rankings released by Building Industry Magazine. ACK was also ranked #32 on
the Hawaii
Business Top 250 List and #304 on ENR's 2009 Top 400 Contractors List. These
were
some of the highest rankings ACK has ever received!
CURRENT PROJECTS


The new C-MORE Hale extension to the
existing Biomedical Building began construction in
June 2009 and is expected to be completed in Fall 2010. It will be one of 17
National Science
Foundation centers of science and technology nationwide, and features extensive
lab, office,
and classroom space.


Renovation of Kukui Gardens began in Fall 2009 and is expected to be completed
in Fall
2010. Work consists of new sidewalks, landscaping, parking striping and renovation
of all 389
unit interiors including flooring and painting.


Construction has commenced on the new Clarence T.C. Ching Learning and Technology
Center
at St. Louis School. This three-story, 27,000 SF facility, will house the Hawaiian
Studies, Fine
Arts, and Business Leadership Programs. The state of the art center will feature
a technology
lab, industry standard data center, television production studio, and a distance
learning and
video conference center that will be made available for community-wide discussions,
programs,
and conferences. Estimated completion is early 2011.


Construction on the new Ho'olei luxury condominiums is on the home stretch and
should be
completed by the end of 2009. Located next to the Grand Wailea Resort on Maui,
this project
features 20 six-plexes, a community center, and other recreational amenities.
